    beautiful gardens
    rough roads
    stained towel

The beautiful gardens provided a serene environment.

Navigating the rough roads to the lodge was stressful. I encountered a stained towel in my room, which was quite disappointing. The lack of nearby dining options left me frustrated, as I had hoped for more variety and convenience during my stay.

Roger's hospitality, plus, breakfast with fresh eggs from their chickens was a highlight. Just wish they had dinner options on-site, but still an amazing stay!

    volcanic stone
    tranquil ponds
    dining options

Unique volcanic stone architecture adds a cool vibe to the place. The variety of nearby ponds offers a tranquil setting for reflection or relaxation.

Lack of on-site dinner options can leave guests wanting. a handy info sheet detailing property features would enhance understanding. Some might find the dining scene in the area limited despite a decent restaurant nearby, and communication on receiving a receipt may not be well-handled, which could be frustrating.

    Heartfelt hospitality in the hills

The breakfast at Malekus Mountain Lodge was an unexpected delight, with hearty options that fueled our adventures. The lush garden and beautiful scenery made every moment magical.

The rough road leading to the lodge can be challenging, and it required some careful navigation. Also, we encountered a stained towel that slightly marred our experience.

    beautiful gardens
    rough road access

The gorgeous gardens provided a lovely environment for relaxation, and the well-maintained hiking trails were a delight to explore. The hosts' hospitality was genuinely heartwarming, making me feel at home throughout my stay.

The location is quite remote, requiring careful navigation on the rough roads leading to it.

    delicious breakfasts
    beautiful scenery
    limited wi-fi
    rough road
    difficult navigation

Spectacular scenery and clean, comfortable accommodations define the experience here. The hearty breakfasts, featuring delicious marmalade and fresh ingredients, set the tone for a great day. However, the limited and unreliable Wi-Fi made communication challenging. Additionally, the rough road leading to the lodge was tough to navigate, especially at night, requiring extra caution. Despite these minor inconveniences, the warm hospitality left a lasting impression.
